Nocat

  1. Configure NoCat in Administration > Hotspot > NoCat
  2. NoCatSplash - Enable
  3. Gateway Name - We-Fi
    • The name of your AP. This can be anything.
  4. Home Page - http://we-fi.org
    • This is supposed to be the default page landing page after authentication, but I've found it doesn't ever go here.
  5. Allowed Web Hosts - we-fi.org www.we-fi.org 192.168.11.1
    • Make sure to include the IP of each router in between your We-Fi router and your internet connection in addition to the URL of sites that should be accessible before authenticating.
  6. Document Root - /splash.html
    • The splash page hosted on the DD-WRT router
  7. Splash URL - http://we-fi.org/Login/Login
    • Your external custom login page.
  8. Exclude Ports - 25
    • Block any problematic ports. 25 is e-mail.
  9. MAC White List - <blank>
    • Add the MAC Addresses of clients to exclude from authentication. i.e. yourself.
  10. Login Timeout - 3600
    • In seconds. Clients will be asked to re-authenticate after they've been logged in for this long.
  11. Verbosity - 2
    • How verbose do you want your logs?
  12. Route Only - disable
    • Keep disabled.
